Yes! I would like to be considered for the CSB/SJU Bonner Leader Program.

To be considered for the Bonner Leader Program students are required to apply for financial aid by completing the FAFSA. Students are also required to submit answers to the following questions:

In prospective Bonner Leaders, we look for committed people who have shown dedication to activities of importance in their lives. Please list the service, family, school, church, athletic, or work responsibilities to which you have been most committed. Specify the activities, positions held and length/frequency of commitments.

Community Building, Diversity, Civic Engagement, Social Justice, International Perspective and Spiritual Exploration make up the 6 Pillars, or Common Commitments that every Bonner program uses for direction.

Of these pillars, which have you had the most experience exploring as a high school student and how has it made an impact on your life so far?

Which pillar would you be most excited to have the opportunity to explore further as a college student and why?

Describe particular abilities or special skills you have that equip you for service. How do you plan to use these abilities during your college years?

What are your primary motivations for being a Bonner Leader and committing to serve at a community based work site during your time as a Bennie or Johnnie?

We receive numerous applications for the Bonner Leader positions at Saint Ben's and Saint John's. What will you uniquely bring to the Bonner Leader Program community and to your community service activity? What do you hope to gain from participating in the program?

Applicants are encouraged to submit a letter of recommendation from a teacher, mentor, or supervisor. The letter should focus on how your history with service and volunteering makes you an ideal candidate for this scholarship. Please upload this document below.
